I am approved

I just called the insurance company and they told me that I was approved. However they told me that the surgeons office submitted for the approval on surgery for July 16-21 2005. Don't get me wrong I will take it. I just thought that seemed a little far out for the surgery. Has anyone else experienced this with the Barix Clinic in Groveport? I guess Dr Barbara is real busy. I am just so thankful that I am finally approved and have a projected date. Just to make sure I will call the Doctors office tomorrow. Hugs, Lisa

Hi Lisa and Congratulations on your approval! I know it is such a relief to get to that point. I have to admit I'm surprised Barix submitted a date in July, they sure seemed to be able to get people in more quickly at the end of 2004. I'm wondering if they submitted that date to allow flexibility in your scheduling? Either way, I'm sure it will work out fine. Congratulations again and good luck on your surgery! Denise

hi congrats on your surgery. I just got my date with Dr.Barbara on mon. And my date is march 8th.Alot times i think the insurance just want a date put down on the approval application.I dont think that is your surgery date etched in stone.Good luck to you.Maybe we will be in at the same time. Keep me posted
