Hi Everyone, I decided that since are really not any support groups over here on the East side of town unless you go South quite a ways, I would get something going here in Reynoldsburg. So here's the information. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. Any questions or comments you send me regarding the meeting will be confidential. The meetings will be open to anyone who would like to attend, it would be helpful if you are planning to be there if you could e-mail me so I have an idea about how many to plan for. I currently have a room for 30 people reserved. I may have to change the location if we get more responses than that. I am using some meeting space at my church for now, but if the group gets bigger than that, I will find another place. The meeting rooms there use folding metal chairs. If you need something different, please e-mail me so I can let the church custodians know to provide for you. If you would like to contribute clothing to the clothing exchange, please bring clean clothes without holes or stains, no undergarments unless they are new and still in their package. This is such a great way for us to all share our resources and save money as we frequently change sizes along the way. I will try to have a table set up in the room to put clothes on so it is easier for you all to see what we have. The plan is for the meetings to be held at Reynoldsburg United Methodist church at 1636 Graham rd. in Reynoldsburg. They will take place the third Monday of every month except for June. We will not be having a meeting in june because of scheduling conflict at the church. The meetings begin at 6 pm and end at 8:30. You are welcome to come in late and leave early if you need to. This will be a mostly peer to peer group emphasizing accountability and encouragement. I will do my best to have guest speakers on at least a quarterly basis and will try to provide for sampling some appropriate post-op foods and drinks. If you have recipes to share, please bring a copy and I can run them off to share with everyone. I plan to have some fun activities for us to do outside of meeting times throughout the year. This first meeting will be a get to know you meeting and will have time reserved for questions and answers towards the end. I hope to see you there. Hugs, Jaimee
