Jeremy/Robbi Norman
I visited Jeremy tonight and just posted a note on the main message board about our visit. While there, I asked Robbi how she was doing and she said very tired, and very bored when she's not with Jeremy. One thing she mentioned is that she when she gets back to the apartment at Unverferth House at night, the TV has rabbit ears and it barely pulls in anything. I wondered if anyone in the Columbus area might have a VCR that they could lend to Robbi? There's a library not too far from where they're staying, and with a VCR, she could at least borrow some movies at the library, and watch those when she gets back to the room. I took her some magazines and she seemed really grateful for some new reading material.
It is so touching to see Robbi's devotion and commitment to Jeremy's care and recovery. If you live in the Columbus area, please consider stopping by to see them, even if it's just briefly. I was so glad we went!
P.S. If you need help in tracking Robbi down, let me know -- I've got a system that works!
I actually have an almost-new VCR just sitting here, not hooked up. I'd be glad to take it out to her.
I know Jeremy is at OSU, but how do I get ahold of his wife? I'd love to meet her for coffee or something and I can give her the VCR then.
Also, does she like to read? I have tons and tons of paperback books that I would be glad to let her borrow.
Please let me know if she needs anything else! I live just outside Columbus and work at OSU - I'd be glad to do whatever I can to help.
hello,
that is so sweet of you ^,^ it was a really nice thought diana, but the unverferth house has a vcr, so we won't be needing one. they have a small library of movies and books, but really none of interest. i love the magazines you gave me jennifer, although i don't need a vcr, i would like to meet you anyway if you would like to come see jeremy. he loves the company, even though he can't talk much. i'll keep you updated as often as i can on his support page. thank you again
love,
robbi
