???Question of the Day???
Well Earl doesn't know this yet, but I want to pay off my school fees, so I can get my transcript and head back to school. I might as well take advantage of the free tuiting while I am an employee at OSU!! I was thinking paying a little on our cruise, and we really need a new dishwasher...so, depending on IF we get one and how much we get will depend on how many things on my list I will get to do...
I know what he wants to do with it I am sure...buy a Texas Squat Bar (weight lifting thing ya know!)
Val
I am stoked about it! Been really wanting to do it for a while now. The goal is to make it to PhD one day...then I can be a Dr. Nurse
Yeah, actually I do have an Earl version, he's a little older tho...almost 45 years old, but I am finding that they improve with age!
We are going on the Weight Loss Buddies Cruise in September with Rennert Travel. The one they have been talking about on the site here. I am soooo excited, neither one of us has ever been on a cruise. Earl has never flown in his life so that should be really interesting. We are going to go into New Orleans a couple of days before the flight to just enjoy the city.
I think this is a much deserved treat for the both of us.
I think they are still taking reservations for this too....
We will be spending ours on a trip to Seattle to visit our families. I booked our hotel today, Yippee!!!! I haven't been home in close to 4 years so it will be a wonderful treat to go home. We will be there for 18 days! And it looks like I may get to spend a night in the room at the hotel where we spent our wedding night! Our 10 year anniversary is in June. We never have the luxury of just dropping them off with Grandma. (haven't had a real date since last summer)It will be a treat to have the option of doing so while we are there. We are also going to pay off the remainder of the loan on my van because we do not want to continue having 2 car payments.
We have a role reversal in our home. My hubby wants to buy a new washer and dryer. Some super duper space-age machines. I think our current ones work just fine.
I want to pay someone to finish the jobs he started and didn't finish ;)
BTW, I went to Lowe's today to have them install new flooring in my studio. Hubby says he can save me some money by taking out the old carpet himself. OMG! I'll never get my new floor.
Since moving to Indain Lake last year, all of our spare cash has gone to renovating this 75 year old cottage! We plan to restore it back to the "look" of 1930 but have nice modern systems/appliances. For once in the 30 years we have been married, We are decorating a house to suit just us and not looking at some possible resale - no neutral colours!!!! (oh all of the stuff you have to go though to sell a house now days... just sold the Marysville house in Sept after a year on the market!!!) HUGS ~Deb
