Sister Georgie Update

Hi ya'll! Popped in to check on Sister Georgie after her filter placement and she looked great. Did just awesome with it. It is so nice to get to meet people face to face! She said that it would be ok for me to let everyone know how she is doing. The did it under a local anesthetic with a sedative. Her site looked good, she was up in the chair trying to get dressed when I barged in! You know we nurses tend to come in at the best times! Now all that's left is to call Dr. Cook and get her h/p appt which is when she should get a surgery date! So her time is getting close! YEAH!! Valerie

Hey Valerie, Thank you so much for taking the time to come and see me on yesterday. Your visit was the highlight of my hospital stay. I am amazed at how well I feel and the best part is my new surgery date is Friday, January 28, 2005, at 11:00 am. I'll be admitted on the 27th At 9:00 am. We can now add my son and friend to the Valerie Curry Fan Club. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you in the gym I mean support group. Love you much, Georgeann

Hi sweet thing! You are so very welcome. It was so great to meet you in person. You looked so good. Thank you for making me feel special. And now.... I am soooooo excited for you, it won't be long now! I will write it down in my calendar and you know I will peek in on you while you are there...and you are darn tootin' you will be there in the gym AND the support groups!
