I now live in Centerville Ohio, near Dayton from Florida. It is sooo beautiful up here. I am so happy to be here and look forward to meeting new friends (pre and post-ops). Any get togethers? If not maybe we can set one up. I had my surgery in Ocala, Florida on June 16, 2004. I can now eat pretty much anything I like. I have lost 80 lbs. Kind of been on a plateau for a while but looking forward to settling down and focusing on being good again. Hope to hear you Y'all. Lise

Welcome to Ohio Lise. Did you get here just in time for the storm or did you miss it? OH is planning an event in Cincinatti in August, the 20th I think. I am going to try to plan something when it warms up a bit. Right now it is just too cold to do anything. Happy New Year!!! ~~Jaimee

I came up for Christmas and was here for the snow, it was sooooo beautiful. Where is Reynoldburg to Dayton? What if we just met in the food court of a mall somewhere? I am willing to do just about anything. Let me know. Looking forward to meeting new peoplessss. Lise

Reynoldsburg is on the east side of Columbus it is about an hour and a half to Dayton. If it wasn't so far I would meet you for lunch halfway. I have 3 kids in school though, so it is tough for me to get out of town. They do not have bus service and I am their TAXI to and from school. If you were willing to drive out this way we could get together. I could meet you at Easton Town Center mall in East Columbus on a Tuesday or Thursday since Mackenzie doesn't have preschool those days. It is right off of 270 and very easy to find. Mackenzie would have to tag along with me though, because I do not have childcare for her. However, she is very well behaved.

Would love to do that but it would have to be on a weekend since I work at the Dayton airtport Monday thru Friday. Let me know when would be good for and and my husband and I would make a day of it. Hope to hear from you soon. Lise

I'll talk it over with Aaron and we will try to come up with a date. Maybe if it is on the weekend we can find someone to watch the kids so we can go out and be adults.

Hi Lise, I live right next to Centerville in Springboro. I'm pre-op for the Lap-Band. There is also another girl "amy" that lives close to the Dayton Mall. She is pre-op also. I'm sure we have enough to get a group together for maybe some coffee at Starbucks across the street from the mall. Let me know and we can get together. I'm self-employed so it's easy for me to schedule something. Cathy

This is awesome, I am so glad to see all these replies. Let's just set up a date for meeting in the food court in the Dayton Mall maybe this Saturday January 8th at 11:00am and I will have a couple of balloons to identify our table.
