I am 8 weeks post op and I would LOVE to have an email or AIM buddy. I think it would be awesome to just have some one to check in with once a day. Hi! I am three weeks away from surgery or 19 days (can you tell I am excited) but i would love to be your buddy. I have a ton of questions about post op. I have been exersizing like crazy because they told me on Dec 8th (my 2nd appointment) that I had to lose 5 lbs by Jan 5th my next appointment. (I had gained 5 since my initial appointment in Sept). Melissa, I would be happy to be your post surgery buddy - looks like there are a couple others who haven't had surgery yet. I'm 34 years old and had surgery on 4/15 at OSU. I've lost 92 lbs and am 10 lbs away from goal. Most importantly, I have become an avid exerciser (I'm training for a half-marathon) and would love to encourage you. Let me know what you think.
