I'M GOING ON STRIKE!!!!!!!!
I can't get any help around here. I have a hubby and 2 teenagers (ages 14 and 16) and they are useless! Hubby took FMLA to take care of me but has done anything but. He is a VOLUNTEER firefighter/EMT and had even told the chief that he probably couldn't run until after the first of the year, yet has spent most of his time on fire/squad runs I have to practically beg to get anything done around here. I ask hubby to do something and he passes it on to one of the kids while he sits on his a$$ and does nothing.
Soooo, I decided that today I am doing NOTHING. I am not asking for anything to be done, not making any comments about the laundry piling up.......nothing. I'm just gonna sit back and relax and see how long it takes them to realize things don't get done around here unless someone does them!
You GO girl!
Now, you have to be sure to come back here and tell us how this works out!
I have my moments of wishing I weren't single, but you know, at least I know what to expect when I get home! Well, sometimes my dog does surprise me, but not too often.
Go relax and take care of yourself...you should still be in a healing mode!
Of course, to get your husband to help you, maybe you will need to call 911? (JUST KIDDING)
Pauletta,
So sorry to hear about Hubby!!! Perhaps you'd better have a heart-to-heart with that "best friend" that you married!!!
At any rate, I live right down the road from you.... sort of. I'm from Hillsboro and still awaiting insurance approval for my surgery. Just sent another packet of paperwork to "prove" that I have tried other methods of "non-surgical" weight loss! What a fiasco. My health continues to decline and my nerves are on edge... I can't wait to have RNY surgery so that I can be a functioning member of society again!!!
When did you have your surgery? I am currently going through Barix, but am probably going to try to switch to Dr. Wesley Alexander out of Cincy. I did not realize that Barix is out-of-network, and can't afford to pay that much $$$.
I wish you well, and hope that your family "dynamics" improves a bit for you.... remind him that it's Christmas!!!!
P.S. How did you fare with all the power & water outages in the County???
Thanks & best wishes, Karen
