??? Question of the day ???
Ok, since I am in Ohio enjoying East Coast cold I thought I would jump in and see if anyone would mind me posting a QOD?.....since nobody is stopping me here goes!!!
This Christmas I am spending time with Cheryl and her children. I so enjoyed buying gifts for the girls. This is the first year that I was able to buy gifts for girls! WOW how cool is that? This year my whole life changed. I moved to California, got divorced, and met Cheryl all in the same year. So much has changed.... but, I still get a gleam in my eye when Christmas comes around. I am a "christmas-junkie". I love to buy presents.
So here is the QOD. "What would be the best gift you could receive this year?" Come on don't be shy the sky is the limit! The first person to say "peace on earth and good will towards men is getting flamed!!!!!" --Just kidding...come on...what do you want for Christmas...tell Santa Bo.
Ho, Ho, Ho...
Bo
gosh,bo--i have repressed my wish list for so long that i have to think on this- a new car? diamonds?i'm into the buying of clothes due to diminishing size!i really would like some diamond earrings -nothing flashy- but am in no hurry! last year , i made a big deal to my kids of my list- and got what i wanted- new dish towels!!!!!
haha! hubby and i just bought a house so getting the boxes unpacked would be a boost!! we did get a treat; due to closing we don't make our first house payment til feb 1st-
i too am a christmas junkie and this year has been a *****allenging! i splurged and bought myself a computer after my wls so i am paying for that!
i have enjoyed shopping for the grandkids - i truly believe that Christmas is for kids- and at 50+; i still firmly stand on the thought that you have to believe to receive!
welcome to chilly ohio- have a great holiday with cheryl and the girls!
Whoa Bo, you sure picked a great time to visit Ohio! Are you enjoying the snow? I love it, so I'm pretty happy right now.
Okay, what do I want for Christmas......I have let clutter and disorganization get out of hand at my condo, so I would love to have the mess magically gone and have everything organized. I know I can hire people to do it, but I would still have to be involved and I hate doing it. So, I want Santa to snap his fingers and my home would be automatically clean and organized! When can I expect this wish to come true?
Of course, I would also ask for a painfree surgery in Feb as well as a quick recovery and a surprising lack of desire for any foods I shouldn't have. (okay, am I asking for too much?)
Hi Bo, Merry Christmas to you!
First of all I have to say as far as my material needs are concerned, I feel like my husband always goes out of his way to provide for me. We usually don't have extras, but our needs are usually met. This being said, if I could have one thing for Christmas, it would be to have all of my post op pain resolved so I could go on a romantic weekend away with him. We only do this every 3 years. Dates are pretty much nonexistent for us because by the time we pay a sitter, it doesn't seem worth it. We usually just bring them with us when we go out. Some uninterrupted, unrushed time to just relax and share my heart with him would be a most lovely gift.
Gee Santa Bo Bo..... It would probably anything my hubby wanted! He has been so supportive of me and our 6th anniversary is tomorrow! This will be the first time we actually get to spend our anniversary alone(always spent it with my dad until he past away last year).
Enjoy Ohio! There is soo much to see!
