Update on Jeremy Norman

Hi everyone - I just spoke to Roberta! I've been trying to reach them for a few days now! Jeremy is currently on the '3 hours a day' dialysis, instead of the 24 hour one, which is good news! His white blood count is elevated again, they think he has some infection on one of the bed sores on his back, which they will try to control with a new antibiotic that they are starting him on today. Robbie says that he is a little more alert, still unable to really communicate properly because of all the tubes and machines, but he is able to nod and wave, and he was very excited about all the cards he has received, which they allowed into the SICU and Robbie has put them up on the walls. They just managed to get into the facility near the hospital which is free for them, its free housing for family of long term patients. Robbie says its much bigger than the hotel, and they have a kitchen and will be able to cook for themselves now instead of just relying on fast food. Any mail you send to Jeremy should now go to his home address, and Jer's brother will play postman and deliver the mail to the family when he goes to visit. Please continue to pray for Jeremy as he is not out of the woods yet! I will post more as I have information! Kirsten A.
