yummy recipe for those on pureed foods
Hi guys, I discovered a yummy recipe if you are on pureed foods. You take boneless skinless chicken breast that has been cooked and puree it with salsa (use enough salsa to make it more of a liquidy consistency. 2 oz has 20 grams of protien and only about 135 calories in it. Make sure the salsa doesn't have extra sugar added to it. I use salsa that I canned myself. This really fixed my craving for flavor.
Do you have any good pureed recipes to share that would be appropriate for post-ops? I would love some more.

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I always mean to, then I get so tired I am not able to. I am doing a little better. I have a lot more pain than I expected to have at this point. Little trips away from the house wear me out quickly. I had my first follow up appointment with Dr. Price on Friday. I was able to get that treacherous drain removed. Can we all say OUCHIE??? Man did that hurt!!! But it was a relief to get it out. I was tired of stuffing it in my waist band. So as of Friday (11 days out) I was down about 20 pounds according to their scale. According to my scale I am down 25 pounds since the Saturday (2 days) before my surgery. It is weird becasue I can't see it when I look in the mirror, but everyone else says they can see a difference. I can tell by some of my clothes, though, because they are getting looser on me.
