MORE ON JEREMY
This was posted from his wife.
jeremy is still alive. that is the most important thing right now. his kidneys and liver are still not working. he just finished today's dialisist. his heart rate jumped back up to the 130's, which is bad... meds aren't working. his blood pressure is okay... around 110/45... that's where they want it. the nurse last night said that the atrial fibrilation causes blood clots and jeremy is bound to have a lot of them... that is scary. the scope still hasn't been done this week to check on the heart. his temp still fluctuates between 99 and 101, which is still better than 106. his white blood count went from 26,000 to 22,000. he looks good to me today. muscarella came in yesterday and said he looked good to him too and that the first 24 hours are the most crucial... but he made it. they may "wash him out" again in a few days to be sure everything is okay inside of him. he is back on the ventilator again. jeremy is getting restless and won't stop messing with his dressing and tubes, so they have his hands tied down, which frustrates him more. all in all, today seems like a good day. the physical therapist should visit him later. he's hanging in there strong and won't give up. he keeps asking to go home. i'm afraid to tell him what day it is. the docs checked his colostemy bag and said that is working really well, which is great. i pray this is the last complication and set-back. the nurses are sure that his kidneys will come back eventually... finally being positive! so there is hope there, even though the numbers haven't changed. i'm so tired and cold today. it started snowing a little. please everyone, keep sending prayers... i tell jeremy everyday that he has so many people supporting him and he has hundreds of new friends... he nods his head and smiles when i say that. he wants to know if he has lost weight, but he can't get weighed until he can step out of bed. he was 798.6 pounds on november 18th, so i'm sure he has lost a lot since then. i keep telling him not to give up and to believe... and it's working. thank you all again. i'll update again soon.
love,
robbi
Robbi,
I am praying for Jeremy and the family. I'm glad you had a little bit of positive news today, as I'm sure you needed it. Hang in there and please know there are many of us out here thinking of your guys daily and sending up many prayers. I am really pulling for a Christmas miracle for him.
Nancy
Robbi,
Myself, and my dear friend Teresa Moore, of VA, are constantly praying for Jeremy. I believe in prayer, and have a strong faith in God. I hope you do too. There are so many people across the country praying for Jeremy.
If there is anything at all I can do, you just name it. I live in the Cincinnati area. If you are up for a visit even, just yell.
Thanks for the update.
God bless you,
Sandy Pierce
