New update on Jeremy

This is from Kirsten... HI everyone, I just got done talking to Roberta, Jeremy is doing okay today. He will be having dialysis as they were able to fix the problem with the line into his neck, I am sure this will help him to feel a bit better! They are hoping to do the scope of his heart today to see how things are there. Roberta says that Jeremy is able to hear them when they speak to him, and can nod his head, but is not yet able to talk or write messages, so she sits and tells him everything that is going on around him and tells him stories. They have received 30 get well cards so far and some very generous people have been helping with their hotel costs, this really gladdens my heart, as the Normans have all been through hell the last few weeks. It looks likely that they will be spending Christmas there now, and I just put a couple of Christmas cards in the mail to them, I know its going to be very hard for them, Robbie's Christmas wish is just that Jeremy gets better, they have such a pure love - and its so beautiful to be friends with this young couple and see that love in action! Thanks to everyone that has sent cards, helped with money and also for all the prayers - Jeremy really does have a circle of love around him right now! I will update again soon! Kirsten A. Thanks for the info. I put a card in the mail just today and i noticed the hotel address. Did he have surgery in Columbus? I work in the OR at OSU so I was just wondering.

Nevermind. I saw another thread where Dr. Muscarella(sp) was mentioned....and I remember seeing his name in another thread now that I think of it. Well, I work there so if the family needs an inside person I'd be happy to help them with anything they may need. It's always good to know someone that work in the hospital...if only to answer questions.
