anyone in ohio taking Medicaid?

I have United Healthcare and they are denying my surgery.....however i have a STRONG case and the backing of at least 3 physicians to vouch for the medical neccesity. I also have Medicaid. I have been told id get approved through medicaid, however my problem is that I cannot find a surgeon willing to accept Medicaid. I live in NE ohio. can anyone help me? Andrea

Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus accepts Medicaid. You can also go to the insurers link at the top of this site and check out all the patients who used Medicaid in your area and see who their surgeons are. You can also look at the surgeons link and look and surgeons in your area and it will list the insurances they have accepted. Good Luck, Sarah

Check Cleveland Clinic...I have a friend going there for wls...she had to be referred by her pcp for them to take her.
