Self Pay in Northeast Ohio

I was just curious if there are any surgeon in Northeastern Ohio that perform the RNY laproscopically. And if so does anyone out there know what the prices are. Deaconess looks like a great facility and the price range seems better than others, but it is like a three hour drive to Cincinatti. Anyone got any advice on Northeastern Ohio, docs and prices?????

Hi, Dr Zografakis at Summa Health System (in Akron) does the lap RNY. I don't really know exactly what the price is for self pay, but I do know they are willing to work with you. Bev (the financial wiz there) is a very sweet lady and if there is a way for you to get the surgery she will definatley find it. My experience so far with the Bariatric Center at Summa has been nothing but positive, and while I am still pre-op, just going on how I have been treated so far, I would strongy recommend them to anyone. Plus Summa is only about 45 minutes from Dover! LOL Whatever you decide, good luck! barb

The Barix Treatment Center in Groveport Ohio. They are really wonderful. They even offer financing. Hope this helps. Lisa
