I really need help, open season is closing in just a few days and I am happy with my United Healthcare of Ohio (HMO)plan but I am not sure they are going to pay for plastic surgery. They paid every dime of my RNY so I can't complain. Anyway, any federal employees out there that have had plastic surgery, which plans do you have or do you just know of a really good plan. Thanks, Cheryl

I too am a Federal employee(USPS) and we just had our health fair. I asked the rep for UHC if they would cover plastic surgery if needed and he stated only if it were medically neccessary. I opted to keep UHC even at the higher cost. Mine went from $56 per pay period to $96 per pay period. I thought if I had to go back into the hospital, the copays on the new plans were going to be to high, so I kept the high option. I suppose all you can do is check with whatever version of UHC that you have. Good Luck!
