I am almost 5 months out and I am never comfortable after I eat. Is anyone else having this problem.I eat so little and have slowed down alot but I have a sick feeling everytime I eat. I probably need another stretch but my ins. doesnt cover it and its 5000. I just paid off the last one. If I need this every few months I wont be able to eat anyway.lol. I feel like there is a huge lump in my throat or below in my whatever. Anyone going through this? I would really appreciate any answers,Thank you,Cindy

you will find that is something you have to get used to, or i did. eat slowly chew small pieces and tough meat like roast beef or hamburger did me in i would have to stretch out in bed and hold my stomach flat , or try to spit up a little bit or quit eating for a day of solid, I think you stomach is not emptying very fast also and the esophagus stays full. remember your education frequent small meals . I,m two years out and have times of the choking episode especially chewy foods. lady owl

Sounds like you need to have a chat with DR.C. It seems like that would be covered since alot of people have to have that done. Good Luck.Have you tried to drink some hot tea afterwards I know that helped me.

Cindy, Good morning. Can you tell me the kinds of things your eating? Is it usually one thing or another that your noticing? Sometimes unfortunately, it does take more than one dilitation to get it just right. Why don't you go back to the basics for about a week, which means liquids, and see how you do? If you are still having this problem with liquids, than you definitely need to be scoped. Sorry I couldn't supply you with better news. Sandy
