Can you have surgery if you have a cold?

My surgery is on December 1st. In 2 days and I think I might be getting a cold. Does anyone know if they will cancel my surgery because of this? I swear, that everyone that we got together with over Thanksgiving had a cold. I tried everything to try not to get it! I'm going to be really bummed if it does. It seems to be just a head cold. HELP!
