I am post op as of 10-11-04, so almost 2 months, At my 5 week mark I had lost 45 pounds. I have not went down any clothing wise. My clothes are looser, but pants still fit the same around my waist, and shirts fit the same. I started at 370+, any suggestions?

Just wait, one day soon you will put on a pair of pants and they will basically fall off. Your body needs time to rearrange itself. Patience is not an easy thing to learn but in this journey it is critical. Just keep moving and as you lose move more and the fat will go. God Bless

I have learned in the last 4 and a half months that the stomach is the last to go. All of a sudden around 70 lbs out you feel completely better and everything just feels better and big. Dont worry it will all come off.Its so much fun. Cindy

My suggestion would be to go to a store and try on a smaller size. I was wondering why in the heck I could still fit into my size 26 pants forever. They got a little baggier but like you said, they still fit in the waist so I didn't think I was all that smaller. I finally went to a store and bought myself a pair of size 20 jeans intending to set them aside for when I finally fit into them oneday. When I got home I tried them just to see how far I had to go and low and behold - they fit! Then I went out and bought two more pairs! lol So in terms of what I had been wearing I went straight from a size 26/28 to a size 20. Jen 345/257/175 RNY 5-11-2004
