Has anyone who had Dr. Kligman and had to switch to Dr. White had their surgery yet? If you have, how did it go. I am having my surgery on December 1. I am starting to feel more than a little nervous! It felt like the day was never going to come and now that it is so close, it almost seems like it happened quickly! (hope that makes sense ) I know that it is normal to feel nervous. I can't even sleep. I just worry about my daughter and husband. Some days I feel a little selfish for doing this. Is that crazy? Then I beat myself up because I couldn't lose the weight on my own. I'm a mess! Thanks for letting me get this off my chest!

Hi Melinda.I think the worst time of this whole thing was the week before. Every emotion and fear go thru you. Once you arrive at the hospital it all sort of leaves and you get excited to start your new life. I am 4 months and lost 71lbs as of this morning. I feel great and if its slow then thats ok.The time passes anyway right? I cant believe I will be a 100 lb loser in a few months. And by the way,if anyone could lose it on our own we wouldnt be here.We would be shopping for bikinis.Dont ever feel like you are being selfish because you really are doing this for them as much as yourself. My husband for 35 years(married me at 128)is so happy. Its like a new woman for him lol. We are having so much fun.We went to a funeral yesterday and there were so many people who have not seen me in years and they were shocked. The compliments were unreal. It was like an outter body experience. I guess I feel the same inside and they all see me as someone different. Its wonderful so enjoy the road to being thin. Its wonderful.Love Cindy 48 more lbs to go
