Wow Vickie! It will get here really fast. I can't believe in 3 days I will be a loser. I still don't feel completely ready, but at least I can say I tried my best! I did pretty good today, but I feel like the stuffed turkey right now. You are right, we are lucky to have such good friends on here that also support you. This website is a blessing. Surgery is at 12:15. The hospital called and woke me up this morning to confirm. Wasn't that sweet of them??? LOL! Thanks for the prayers. I can't believe it is here already. I just hope I can handle the pain. I am such a baby when it comes to being in pain I did find out some really good news when I talked to the gal from surgery admissions, I get to have my toenails painted when I go in. I'm a bit anal about the toes, you see. I never go without polish on them, they are just plain ugly if they aren't painted. So this little tidbit of info made my day. Silly, I know, but it is a small thing in my life that makes me feel pretty. Gotta take as many of those as I can. HA HA! I am going to spend the rest of the weekend catching up laundry, packing me and my kids (they're going to my friend's house for a week) and getting my paperwork in order. Then I'm Off!!! OH MY GOSH Jaimee, you aren't going to believe this, but I thought of the toenail polish thing this morning while getting ready to go to work. I had a pedicure in Florida back in mid October and it is still in good shape. I was thinking how much I like having it done (I even had a french pedicure) and wondered if I could have toenail polish on during surgery. I figured I couldn't have fingernail polish because I think they look at your nail color for an oxygen check.....but great news about the toes. I had to laugh to know I'm not the only one thinking about this kind of thing as we are on our way to have our digestive tract remodeled. Maybe we need to rethink our priorities? (naaaahhhh, I'm okay with them the way they are).

LOL! Two peas in a pod are we!!!!!I think our priorities are perfectly fine You never know who's gonna pop into the hospital for a visit ya know! I should take a picture and post it on my page for kicks!!!!!

I am laughing because I had a manicure and pedicure 2 days before my surgery. They took it off righty when I got there.Cindy

They even took your pedicure off? That stinks! I was very specific in asking about my tosies so hopefully It will be okay. If not, hubbie will be busy while he's up visiting me!
