For those intereseted in OSU
First....GO BUCKS! Big game today!
Second, for those of you interested or thinking about OSU for surgery, I am proud to say we have a brand new website that covers just about everything, and the new Bariatric Surgery section is up and running!
Next, bragging rights! My hubby and I along with 2 other people are the success stories they posted. I was very flattered when they asked us to do this!
This surgery has changed my life so much, I find myself doing more and more with it, and if and when the opportunity presents itself, or I can find it, I know I want my nursing career to go in that direction. I know it sounds corny, but you know, I really believe this is my calling.
So, if you or anyone you know is interested check it out! Feel free to email me too if there is anything I can help with!

If this were easy my ex husband would be doing it!
Thanks Valerie for the information. The website is really nice. I have went to one of the support groups, but you were on the other side of the room from me. Next meeting I attend I will be sure to stop and introduce myself. I am down 16lbs on my supervised diet. Only 3 months to go. After my PCP sends the results to OSU we will see what happens. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
and
GO BUCKS!!!
Hugs,
Julie
Hey Julie!!! YEAH BABY BUCKEYES ARE THE BOMB!!!! Can you tell I am celebrating the win? BOOYAH!
Please please introduce yourself!!! I would love to meet you in person!!! I will try to behave myself. Sometimes I get into trouble...LOL we all just have a great time there! You will find some tremendous support in that room.
That is AWESOME GIRL!! Any weight loss is great! Keep up the great work, the more weight you can take off prior to surgery the better off you will be! I will keep my toes, fingers and whatever other body parts I can keep crossed for you!!!
You have a great Thanksgiving!
Big hugs!

Valerie...Love the site. I have often wonder why OSU did not have that before...glad to see it up and running! That is so fantastic about you and your hubby...congrats to you both.
This surgery is such an amazing tool! I follow up with Dr. Needleman at the end of the month for my 1 year visit. Still going strong with no problems.
Karie...-119 pounds and still going!
Hi Valerie,
The new site is wonderful and the "Success Story" page is a great inspiration especially to pre op patients. You look amazing and I don't think your comments about your call is corny, because I feel the same way. I beleive my calling is going to be helping others in the area of obesity and WLS. Continued best wishes to you. Oh I almost forgot ...
GO BUCKS !!!
