UPDATE ON JEREMY NORMAN

Any news on Jeremy? Our friend who was literally living day by day until surgery? Does my memory serve me right, wasn't he supposed to have surgery at OSU today? If anyone knows anything let us know. I can ask tomorrow at work to see if he is an inpatient. That is all they will tell me...HIPAA you know! Val

No, I think it is tomorrow or Monday...Dr. Cook only does surgery on Fridays and Mondays. So you will still be able to see if he is there tomorrow!

Jeremy's last name is Norman. I didn't see his surgery date on his profile...but it is November 2004.

Hi Val, I got an email from Jermey on 11/10 informing me that he was scheduled for surgery on 11/19 and that Dr. Dean J. Mikami would be doing his surgery because Dr. Cook was booked until after the first of the year. I don't know if anything else has changed since then. Georgeann

Thanks sweetie! He's been on my mind a lot lately. I will be praying for him. Dr. Mikami is wonderful. The nice thing about working at OSU and helping with their Bariatric program is knowing these guys. He did my hubby's stricture too, what a really nice guy! Excellent surgeon too. Ok, well hopefully someone will know more as the day progress. It's in God's and Dr. M's hands today and I am going to be saying some prayers for them all. Val

I just got a call that he will not be having surgery today after all. I dont want to say the reason here because I don't have all the facts and don't want to spread bad information. Pray that they can re-schedule soon!!!Cheryl

Thanks. I do know he was at OSU, but has no details, I didn't get much of a chance to check anything out. If anybody gets an update be sure to let us all know!
