Dr. C...hernia ???

Dr. C, I have an incisional hernia and have recently had some bleeding from my bellybutton. Any relationship? I've been treating the bellybutton as it is infected but it's still not completely better. I am seeing a surgeon on Monday, but would be interested in your opinion. Sarah, I've never seen bleeding like that from a hernia before. In true John Kerry fashion, I would say it's unlikely, but not impossible, that they're related... C
