Have you ever ever ever put a bathing suit on and been comfortable? I realized today that no matter how much weight that I lose, I will never enjoy being seen in a bathing suit. Cheryl

Better to be seen with one than without. Well I guess for a man it's a little different. Me and my ruffly butt (sharpei tuschi) go out in bathing suits in the summer. Everything sags but I see so many people and since nobody really looks good in a bathing suit. It's like OK I fit right in.

Cheryl, I think Jack is right - even when I was skinny, as a kid, I was self conscious about being seen in a swimsuit. Too this, too that. Just jump into that suit and HAVE FUN! Isn't that the saying, you've gotta dance like nobody's watching - ? We have spent enough of our lifetimes worrying about somebody who may be "looking" at us. Who knows, they may be jealous of you, especially nowadays! Sharpei tuschi!! LOL Hugs, Kitty B.

Hi Cheryl, Even at my highest weight I had a bathing suit. I just love the water. When I'm tanned, I feel better in one. I'm in the pool (inside... warm water therapy pool) 5 days a week 2 hours at a time right now. I am wearing a suit that I could not wear this summer so that makes me feel good !! I've often thought I'd sure like to show the people who design swimsuits for large people what would work better for us. I worry summer to summer if there will be some style I can wear. What was the question.. ha Yes, I am comfortable in my suit... when I am in my own backyard. However, if I am at the beach with alot of people... that's another story. Hopefully this will change one day !! Cindy

You know, being heavy in a bathing suit is not always bad. I always get a good spot at the beach. All you have to do is march close to where you want to put your blanket down and then make a big production of bending over in your bathing suit to adjust your blanket. People around you will move really quick and you will get the best spot. I hope you all realize that I am kidding!!! Cheryl

I live in fear when I don my bathing suit - If I wave at someone, my arm flapping could knock silly anyone standing nearby! Perhaps I need to install warning signs. Sue

That is so funny! You got me to thinking....maybe my behind should don a wide load sign....you know, just for safety reasons. Cheryl
