first time on ohio board

Hi Marsha!!! My name is Angela Fleeman from Sandusky near Cedar Point. I have Medical Mutual of Ohio, Super Med Plus too. I'm waiting for my information to be sent to the insurance company for approval. I went to Barix Clinic in Groveport and I feel comfortable with the doctor I saw. I know exactly what you are going thru. The waiting is so stressful!!! I dream every night that I am thin and able to play with my kids without being tired and out of breathe. I am praying for you!!!! Do you have any advice or information that I can use to get approved from Medical Mutual???? I'll be looking for your message that you are APPROVED!!!!!!! I have just been approved!! Dec. 14th is surgery date! This is the best Christmas gift I could have ever been given! I can hardly believe it. I had a whole list of diets, that spanned at least 30 years. I had my husband and 2 sisters write letters telling of how I tried many diets and nothing worked. I would gain twice the weight I took off. I had my medical doctor write a letter stating that I was a good candidate for the surgery. I, myself, wrote a letter telling them why I wanted to have the surgery. I had a sleep test done and have sleep apnea. I had an ekg, blood gas test, blood and urine tests. I have high blood pressure. I also took a psyc. test and I am seeing a dietitian. All of this was turned into the insurance co. Hope this will help to get you through. I am so surprised!!
