Lapband approval???

Is anyone getting approval for lapbands in Ohio, especially Anthem Blue Access? If so, what do you think made the difference? Does it help to cry or bombard them with letters? Any help would be appreciated, although I think I'm facing an uphill battle. Cathy

Cathy, You're probably out of luck with Anthem, the only thing you could do is to request external review but even that's a long shot. That s#$^s!! I think I'll still give it a try. My mother died from complications of osteoporosis. I'm no very comfortable with the malabsorbtion factor of the RNY. Although it was my intention to get a RNY when I first started research. I do have a small inheritance coming to me. But I don't know when or how much. cathy
