Where Did You Have Your Surgery At/Or Wanting To?

I was just wondering where everyone had there surgeries at. I am seriously considering the Barix Clinic in Groveport (pending approval from insurance). The surgery is their specialty and they seem to have good reviews. My other choice is the Wish Center. Opinions and comment welcome.

I am GOING to have mine done by Dr. Trace Curry in Cincy @ Deaconess Hospital. It is his speciality also and he so cares about his patients.

I HAD my LAPBAND done on June 16th, 2004 at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee, Ohio by Dr. Duckett. Great guy, great staff. I am very pleased with how everything has gone thus far Cindy

had mine with dr curry also had it done on 7/19/04 and would do it again in a heartbeat!! had no problems and i am out 3 mos. 12 days and i live 3 1/2 hrs away from him, he is super and so is he`s staff! and i am down 54 lbs. so i am very pleased. good luck with whoever u choose

Had mine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. I wanted to be at a hospital...where there would be other specialist if something were to happen. I didn't expect any complications but with my health, I didn't want to take any chances. I also liked the pre-op/post-op program OSU MADE me go through!!!

I am having mine at the Barix in Groveport with Dr. Barbara on the 10th of Nov. I feel very confident in them, and I like you picked them because that is their speciality. Everyone I have asked about them has good things to say. They also have a good aftercare program.

Had mine at CHrist hospital with Dr Moreira. He no longer does bariatric surgery.

I'm having mine at the Deaconess Hospital and Dr Curry is my surgeon. I like that fact that his practice is solely bariatrics. It makes me feel more secure.

I am going thru the Wish Center and they are awesome!!!!! The staff is great, the surgeon was great, they put you thru alot but it is worth it. They really prepare you for this life altering event which I loved. I went for my consult and was there for 5 hours. I seen a nutritionist, therapist, psychologist, dietician, and an exercise physiologist. They showed me a video of the procedure and answered all my questions. The aftercare program is also wonderful. They really take care of you and are concerned for you to completly knowledgeable of the procedure you are having. Even some of the staff has had it done and I asked tons of questions. No regrets!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps!!!!!!! Chelle
