protien drink recipes!
I found some protien drinks everyone might like.
I have not had surgery yet and I am not sure in we can eat friut because of the sugar. I hope that you like them. I also have more.
ALMOND LATTE
makes 1 serving
In advance, brew your favorite coffee, pour into ice cube tray and freeze. To a serving of vanilla protien add 3-4 drops almond extract and 3 frozen coffee cubes and blend. Great for a little extra kick in the mornings or for a late evening sweet craving.
BANANA NUT MILKSHAKE
1 serving
Vanilla protien powder
mix in a blender with 2 cups non-fat milk
mix in 10 ice cubes
add 1- 2 tsp vanilla
add 1/2 tsp nutmeg
add 1 ripe banana
mix until smooth and enjoy.
Banana Pie Shake
1 serving
1 cup skim milk
1 scoop Vanilla protien
Splenda to taste
1 inch long piece frozen ripe banana
couple of drops of Coconut extract (optional)
3-4 icecubes
Blend at high speed in your blender until thick and creamy. Nutritional analysis: calories 230, protein 29
I like to have this for breakfast after a hard workout. Delicious! I buy a bunch of bananas, let them ripen then cut them up into 1 inch pieces and freeze in a ziplock bag. They freeze well and I can have a shake anytime I want. Enjoy!
Berry Blast
1 serving
Blend one serving Myoplex Strawberry according to directions. Add one container of blueberry fat free light yogurt, about a dozen frozen blueberries, and three ice cubes. Blend for additional 30 seconds and enjoy! This will add about 10 grams protein and 20 carbs depending on your brand of yogurt.
BERRY -CINNAMON PROTEIN SHAKE
1 serving
2-3 scoops of your favorite vanilla meal replacement powder
4 oz. skim milk
3 oz. low-fat berry yogurt
1 tbsp vanilla flavored coffee creamer
4 ice cubes
Dash of cinnamon
Berry Shake
1 serving
1 cup pineapple, and juice
a small handful of frozen berries
1 cup ice
1 scoop vanilla protien powder Combine in blender until smooth
CHOCOLATE FRUIT SMOOTHIE
2 servings
1/2 cup 1% milk
2 TBS instant powdered milk
1 TBS cocoa powder
1 1/2 TBS sugar
1/2 cup frozen berries (cherries, raspberries, or strawberries)
1 cup fresh fruit
Blend & Drink
CINNAMON KICK
1 serving
1 package vanilla Myoplex
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon instant coffee
Blend together ingredients using luke-warm water.

Coffee Mate protien drink
1 serving
1 Myoplex (Vanilla or Chocolate) package made according to directions.
2 Tablespoons of Coffee Mate Cinnamon, Hazelnut etc Coffee Mate
Coconilla Apple Cinnamon Shake

this is my favorite 1 hour after my real-high intensity early morning workout on weekends (40 mile rides, 5 mile runs, etc)
1 packet of vanilla protien powder
16 oz of skim milk
1/2 apple
1/2 cup of coconut
1 teaspoons cinnamon
- pour milk into blender and stir in protien
- blend on medium till shake is thouroughly mixed
- chop up 1/2 the apple in small 1/2 in chunks (keep the skin on)
- throw in the apple and coconut into the blender and blend till no chunks remain
- sprinkle in cinnamon and give a quick blend to mix it into the shake
- take belnder pitcher and refrigerate for 10-20 mins before serving
