Columbus Support Group??

I am having my surgery on Nov 1st in Cleveland at St. Vincents. But, I live in Columbus. I know that there are meetings here. But, I do not know when, and where. Can some one point me into the right direction?? Thanks!

Hi Melissa, There is a support group meeting at Mount Carmel West on the first Monday of the month at 6:15 pm. It is free to anyone. There are also meetings at OSU. Val can give you information on those. ~~Jaimee

Lap Band on 12/02/04

Hi Melissa! The OSU Support Group Meetings are held 2x's a month. The first Wed of every month is a group geared toward pre-op and post-op up to around 6 months. The 3rd Wed of every month is geared toward post-op 6 months and greater. Anyone can attend either meeting. I am not scheduled for surgery until 12/2 and have been to both. They have different topics and guest speakers at each meeting so you can pick and choose what is interesting for you. They ask for a $5 donation to help cover the room costs, but it is on the honor system - not mandatory. Feel free to email me with any questions.
