Hi Ebony! I would like it if University Hospital had support group meetings anywhere else but at the hospital, like out in various suburban locations. I hate the drive and I hate having to pay for parking. I attend a group made up of St. Vincent and UH folks who formed their own group out here in Medina. The one required pre-op meeting I attended at UH, I did not really like because I thought some of the people in the audience had bad attitudes and they were objecting to the program requirements, etc. I guess I am required to attend one meeting post-op per year in Cleveland, but I have not made arrangements to attend one yet. Hi Alice, You mentioned you attend a support group in Medina. How is it going? My reason for starting a support group on the east side was because like you said it's so difficult to get downtown and so crowded. Do you know of any other east side support groups? I'm hoping we get some interest so we don't have to go downtown and can learn a lot from each other. Teri Frye
