Made It!!!

as of oct 12th 630am my life has now changed forever. with all my family around me i was wheeled into the operating room and said good by to them as the cart moved on. can't remember much but just waving goodby to them as i drifted off, probably even before the op room doors shut. i stayed in the hospital from tuesday and released on thursday afternoon. never really had a whole lot of pain but used the iv meds as was instructed by others, just in case. finally slept in my own bed last night, and have left the lazy-boy behind in the family room. it was nice to be able to be in my own bed and be able to sleep on my side or stomach again. the liquids have been tough, 64oz is a lot of liquid to drink in one day, never thought i would say that. have been walking since tuesday and actually went on a 45min walk with my wife, son and grandson today. thanks for all the prayers, as you are in mine. eric end
