Angel Needed

I am in the midst of my 12 week pre-op food plan that I have to follow for OSU. I have waited a long time to get this far. I am hoping insurance approval will come back soon. My Dr. has sent for it. Waiting . . .Waiting . . . Waiting . . . Logging my food journal. . . Waiting . . .Could use someone to hold my hand, so to speak. Hoping to get a Jan or Feb surgery date. My Dr. says he will be really surprised if they turn me down. (Fingers Crossed). Someone had given me a name of a Christian psychiatrist or psychologist at OSU for the eval, but I can't find his name. Anybody have a suggestion? Anybody wanta be my angel?

Hi Jodie! Ok, I am not the greatest "angel" in the world, but I will be glad to be your support person and help you as much as I can. I had my surgery at OSU and I am an RN at OSU, and I do a lot of volunteer work with the Bariatric Dept. so what ever I can do to help I will. Have you been to any of the support meetings? You should come if you haven't tried them yet. They are great! I can send you some info if you would like just send me your email! They are for anybody. We have two a month and always have a professional speaker. The waiting is the hardest part, but I think that everyone here will agree it is worth the wait!
