Surgery Date

Well it's been a long process but I finally have a Surgery Date of November 8, 2004. It took approximately 6 months from my initial visit to receive this date. Partially my fault, I had to stop smoking and did, but after 4 months started again, got fustrated when the process took so long but finally got my approval letter in September and had to start the entire 6 week no smoking all over again. But it is getting close now and I have to admit I am getting a little nervous

Hi Gloria, congratulations on your surgery date...what an exciting time this will be for you. Are you getting it done at Barix in Groveport? Will it be open RNY or lap RNY? Are you comfortable with their entire program? Do they offer lots of nutritional counseling and support afterwards? I have my initial consultation with Dr. Viglianco in November, but I was just wondering about your feelings on their program so far? Best of luck! Denise

Gloria, Congratulations on your date. You will be very pleased with the Barix Clinic of Ohio. I had my surgery there 4 years ago, and have no regrets. They took great care of me. Sandy Pierce
