Insurance question???

I was just wondering if anyone has been approved lately with Medical Mutual HMO Health Ohio? My surgeon's office has said they faxed all my information to them on Sept. 12, but everytime I call they say it is in review. Is that normal? Now yesterday they told me they just recieved all my information. Does this sound like I am destined to be denied? All I do is worry about this, the insurance company sure has us over a barrel. Any suggestions?

Argh! I am in the middle of a runaround with MMO PPO, they denied after the first letter, but now when either Barix or I call they won't return Barix's calls and they tell me I have to appeal in writing so that they can send me the reason why they denied me. It's making me crazy!!!!!! Tami

I also, have MMO supermed plus. I am waiting for approval. It was sent to review last week and I was told that I should here something in a few days. Who have you been talking too? Are you writing down their names? Lately that is all I have been worrying about is whether or not I will get denied. Here lately MMO is notorious for their denials,, Keep in touch Good Luck Jackie C.
