Hey guys, it's me again. I need a recommendation for a really good insurance (mainly for the surgery) that I can get as an individual. I have no insurance plan and neither parent has one that I can join...so I need help! Anyone who can tell me a good insurance plan to look into will be my hero!!!! Faith

I had Kaiser HMO, they have great support groups and as long as you go to at least 6 diet meetings {1 per month} see Psychologist, and Kaiser doctor it is rather easy to get approval. Your bmi has to be over 40, and they did use St Vincent Charity Hospital up until last spring, but now are doing the surgery at Parma Hospital. My primary physician referred me in Jan 03 and I started seeing the dietician in April, I was approved for surgery in Oct 03, could have had the surgery in Nov 03 but waited til after the holidays. I recommend them. I had no problem. The dietician at Parma Kaiser is wonderful. And my out of pocket expenses was less than $200 besides my premium. I was a size 26 now 14-16 and down 122# in almost a year. Good Luck!
