changing my addictions

Last year, when I would leave the house to go shopping, it would usually be a trip to the grocery store . I would search for the best ice-cream, the perfect potato chips and my favorite chocolate. Since my surgery, these things have disapeared from my life and that's OK with me. The problem is my new addiction..... shopping for new jeans, tops and sweaters !! And this new habit is a bit more expensive! At least now when I spend money I have something to show for it the next day....that is until I lose more and have to buy more !!! Gayle -93 lbs

Hi Cindy, I think I was around 45-50 lbs at 3 months. I've gone a few times of not losing for 4 weeks and then ...bam...4 lbs in one week. I don't stress out about it any more. It's slow but steady now. Good luck!! Gayle

I think that sounds like a better addicition, one I am looking forward to. I am still waiting for approval and I would like to go to the grocery store and not look for junk food, I'd much rather be shopping for clothes that I will look good in, not stuffed in. Cindy
