PJ EVERSON OF KY UPDATE
PJ would like to thank everyone for their prayers, phone calls, cards, and visits.
Dr. C was in too see her yesterday. He ordered an upper GI which was done today. They found the fistula. Now, it just has to be glued. This will be done via scope.
Hopefully, as soon as this is done, she will get to heal at HOME. Her wounds would all heal at home as well they said.
PJ walked 250 feet yesterday, and is working with occupational therapist.
I don't know about you, but i miss PJ dearly, both on this board

I am glad to hear that PJ is starting to improve. I don't usually look at the message boards until evening but I wanted to get an update on PJ so I can take it to church and share it with my friends at prayer meeting tonight. Last week when I saw an address for her on the board I wrote it down and asked some of my friends to send her a card. A couple of them have called me for updates.
I will take this new report to church tonight. Please tell her that we look forward to hearing from her personally. "250 feet is awesome... pretty soon you'll be dancing around the room." Good Luck and God Bless You.

Becky Dombrosky I just got off of the phone with PJ and she was crying and wants to give up. I told her she has made it this far and we will keep praying for her. She is really depressed and she told me her faith ain't there anymore. She said it ain't worth it. She also said that if she knew this is what she was going to go thru she said she wouldn't have done it. We need to start a prayer chain for PJ. She is really down and if Dr. Curry fix her leak and it doesn't work they are sending her home any way and that is what she is afraid to go home with a leak.
