Referred to OSU

My primary Dr has referred me to Ohio State University. I am anxious to get this all started. I know that I have 6 months ahead of me. But it will be well worth it. My kids need me around, and I want to watch them grow up into fine adults with their own families someday. My journey is about to begin. Bring it on!!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

hey julie, i also am going to osu. i've gotten all my paper work and eval. and all approved.. the people there are great.. i have worked 1st with shmon?? and then with shannon. i love them both. now i'm waitting for an opening with dr cook. so the best of luck. you'll be suprised how fast the first months go . i'm first in line for a november date and this month is gonna DRAGGGGGGGG. ..jabber jaws..cheryl

Hi Julie! I am also going through OSU - Dr. Needleman will do my surgery. I just met him on Tues and he is wonderful. A friend of mine had rny at the begining of this month and is doing very well. She highly reccommends him! I am scheduled for lap banding on 12/2. They did have earlier dates, but early Dec worked well for me and my job Good luck! Hey Julie! You will be so happy with OSU!! We have such a great support system! I did send you the support group info didn't I? If I didn't let me know and I will send it out. Those are great to go to before surgery too! If you have anything that I can help with let me know. And you know Shannon will do the same! Keep us posted on your progress. I went through OSU two years ago and was very pleased with the Dr's and the care. The support is wonderful and so are the meetings, good luck.
