Have you ever been to a concert of a group you really liked? If so what was the group? I was a huge Rick Springfield fan!! That is right I said Rick Sprinfield. I had his pictures all over my walls and I wanted to be "Jessie's Girl" so bad. I remember when I seen him in concert I thought I would faint. I was also in love with Huey Lewis and the news. I know I seen them in concert about 10 times and even braved a snow storm and wrecking the car three times to get to one concert. Tell me your story. My very first concert was Richard Marx. It was great. Me and my cousin even sneaked in before the concert and got to see him doing his sound chec****il we were spotted and quickly escorted out..lol. I LOVE Garth Brooks. I've been to 4 of his concerts, and I also braved a snowstorm all the way to Cleveland, from Columbus in a 1976 Monte Carlo. Now, that's love..lol. Angela

Cheryl, As a true child of the 70's, I attended more concerts than I can count. There are three that really stand out as memorable - 1. Emerson, Lake and Palmer 2. Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" tour 2. David Sanborn and Al Jarreau ( after I was a little more grown up ) Now you couldn't pay me to go to a big stadium concert. If I can't go see someone in a small, intimate venue, I'd rather just buy the CD! Oh I sure am getting old!!!!!!!!!! Nancy PS- I though Rick Springfield was a "babe" too

New Kids on the Block! I loved them! I went to see them at the Ohio state fair, geesh, somewhere in the 90s, possibly late 80s. BUT, I had to leave right as the concert was starting. I was with my cousin, and she began having an asmtha attack.

I was an Alice Cooper fanatic!! Went to every concert that he had within 150 miles of home! I always liked the alternative rock...Edgar Winter, YES, Melissa Etheridge(way before she was well known). I went to see them whenever they were in town. Dating myself but when I see Alice on those commercials now, I still get a little awed!
