Hi Vickie ! Jaimee here. I am a former chatterbox turned partial lurker I am really gunshy about posting something that will get be flamed so I have backed off a bit, but I still read and love to see what everybody has to say. I am 32 and married for 9 years to my wonderful best friend Aaron. (been with him 16 years! whoohoo) I am also a mom of 3: Andrew who is 7 1/2, Autumn will be 7 next mo and Mackenzie who is 4 1/2. I am scheduled to have surgery Dec. 6th. I welcome e-mails for anyone who would like encouragement and support.
Hi Vickie,
I have to admit that I am a lurker most of the time. I post once in a while but love to read the posts and learn as much as I can. I am 50 years young.(they say you are only as old as you feel, right?) I have been married to my wonderful hubby for 27 years. Have 2 daughters 26 and 19. Also have 2 beautiful grandaughters 2 and 6 that keep me going. I have been trying for 2 years to have wls and finally am hopeful to start my journey in late December. Nice to meet you. God bless you for caring about the lurkers!!
Sherry
Hello Vickie and lurkers
Welcome and please keep posting. Since this is an open forum, we shouldn't have to worry about being flamed for our ideas or opinions. (Just my opinion) I was banded 9/8 so a I am a real newbie. Haven't been restricted yet so I am waiting for that day.
My name is Sandy and I am 61 (never too old to get in better health)
I have 4 children and 5 grandsons. A new grandchild on way in Dec and no we don't know or care what the sex is.
I lost my "best friend and husband" two years ago to Cancer and feel very lost. It's a new world to function in and sometimes you don't feel like doing it but I do believe that there is a reason I am still here. (sometimes I think it's to correct things)
I live near Dayton and was banded at OSU. They are great folks and highly recommend Dr. Needleman.
To the lurkers---please tell us how you're doing. If we can help in any way--we'll be glad to.
