Hi Vickie! I post every once in a while - nice to officially meet everyone! I will be 35 on 10/5 and am married with 2 girls - soon to be 8 & 10. I have my consult scheduled with Dr. Needleman on Tues to discuss lap band surgery and to get my date. I'm hoping to have surgery the first week of December. Work is slower then, I can have a last hurrah at Thanksgiving and will be feeling fine by Christmas. We'll see if my timing works with his Pam

Hello! I'm Angela, and have posted a few times. I'm 31, happily married to the man of my dreams with 3 beautiful children. Ages 13, 12 and 17months. I have a few more evaluations, and then hopefully I can be submitted to my insurance company. I would love to hear from anyone. it's good to meet new folks- but vickie- i had been wondering where you have been? busy week??!! i am margo- i am 50 and married to my wonderful michael almost 2 years- we each have children by previous marriages and grandkids as well! i work in a bank as a part time teller - and i am down 55 -57 pounds since my surgery six months ago tomorrow... about posting- there have been a few posts lately where i have started to write and have backed off so as not to offend anyone! good to hear from y'all!

I am almost finished with all of my pre-op evaluations and then I will just be w a i t i n g for an appt. with the surgeon and a surgery date. Where will your surgery be done? I will be at Mt. Hey Vickie! Valerie here! No, I am not a lurker...sorry gift of the gab, just can't keep it shut! I try to be helpful as much as I can be! I am married almost 3 years to my prince charming (yes, I have been with MANY toads to find him) I have three kids, Michael 18, Katie 14, and Meagan 13. All about to move to the next year up. I work as an RN at Ohio State University *GO BUCKS!* I had my surgery 07/10/2003 at OSU with Dr. Scott Melvin, lap RNY. I am down over 120 pounds and feeling AWESOME!!!!! You can also find me haning out on the bodybuilding & weightlifitng forum with my hubby Earl. He had his Lap RNY with Dr. Melvin in June of this year. So WLS has impacted our whole family to say the least! Nice to meet everyone! Val
