Self Introduction
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Calvin Selwyn. I am one of three bariatric surgeons at the University of Cincinnati. I'm new to the website but not Cincinnati. I practice out of University Pointe in West Chester and currently perform all of my surgeries at the University Hospital. I chose to do a year long fellowship specifically in bariatric and advanced laparoscopic procedures at the University of Cincinnati and was offered the privilege stay on as faculty.
We will be opening a new 3 day stay hospital in West Chester and hope to be performing Bariatric procedures as well as other short stay procedures there in the next few months. I also hope to offer advanced laparscopic weight loss procedures at Christ hospital in the next few months.
I would welcome questions, comments or interaction with patients or other local surgeons. The University Surgeon group has been performing Laparoscopic RNY gastric bypass since 2001.
