Obesity Law

Hello, I was denied the first time because I lost 20 lbs. Cleveland Clinic requires you to go on a diet to make sure you can adhere to a strict diet. Second reason was I wasn't on a dr supervised diet for 6 months which was incorrect, they were even paying for it. As far as the exclusions on your policy you'd have to ask the attorneys at Obesity Law. Obesity Law is an attorney who actually had the bypass surgery done. He and his wife represent people who have been discrimated against (and other things) due to their weight. There is more information on obesitylaw.com. Not sure if they can help but it would be worth a try to find out. They are located in CA but I live in OH and it wasn't a problem. Good Luck, ~Tracey
