Julie, I was denied twice from my insurance company. I was very discouraged but I found Obesity Law. I hired them to do my final appeal which went to Office of Personnel Management. OPM overturned my insurer's decision and I'm getting my surgery on Oct. 18th. If you need any information or if I can help please don't hesitate to email me. ~Tracey

Tracey, HI! I am from Kentucky and am trying to have the gastric bypass surgery. I have Humana HMO and have a written exclusion on my policy. What were the reasons you were denied for, if you don't mind me asking? Where did you find Obesity Law? Can I have their contact information? Can they overturn an insurers decision where there is a written exclusion?
