Ohio fill dr's

Can you let me know if there is a Ohio fill doctor who will work on Mexican patients? Thanks. -Gerald

Gerald, please excuse my stupidity, but what is a "fill" doctor.

Hi Valerie A fill is an adjustment to the adjustable gastric band or lap band. It can be to add fluid to tighten the band or to take some away if you are banded too tightly. That way lap band patients can be adjusted to continue with weight loss when experiencing plateaus. Not that I know first-hand, but hope to soon Pam

Thanks Pam. I am still learning about all that stuff! I work at OSU, and I was going to refer Gerald there as well. I know Needleman does lap banding, but Dr. Mikami may be doing them now as well.

Hi Gerald! I'm not sure about accepting south of the boarder bandsters, but you can try Ohio State University Bariatric Program. Their phone number is 614-293-2888. I am going to Dr. Bradley Needleman who is the main Lap Band Dr., but was told recently that another doctor is doing fills also. Can't hurt to call and see! Good luck! Pam
