new to the game..

hi every one, i just found out that i've been approved for surgery. started my diet classess and waitting for the dr to fit me in. i'm so excited.. did anyone else drive your friends and family crazy talking about the surgery? seems like thats all i can think about. i spend alot of time reading the boards and surfing the net for any info i can find, want to be able to go into this with my eyes wide open..thanks for letting me jabber.

cheryl...welcome "a-board"! jabber away hon!!! yes--i drove my family nuts - of course it was a short drive!!!! and these boards are addictive!! early on i spent a great deal of time reading the Q&A section to get ideas and answers- as well as the main boards- and of course the profiles--when you find someone whose posts you enjoy reading- go to their profile--many of the "older" postops have such a wealth of experience and info on their profiles-- don't get caught up in the hormones and emotions that flow somedays tho--not worth raising the BP!!! congrats on approval strap on your seat belt cuz the ride is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
