I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed meeting you in person at support group tonight. You seem like a really neat lady and I look forward to getting to know you more. Sorry if I was being chatty patty. Sometimes I can't help myself. I was just really excited to see you there! I will be praying for you to get your surgery date really soon!

I guess I'm showing my age, but I had one too - when I was in kindergarten. The "string" that made her talk kept breaking and we had to send it back to the factory a couple of times.
Did you know they re-issued them a few years ago? They were over $100.00 !!!!!!!

Some of my favorite people are chatty patties! And believe me, I can talk up a storm myself! I, too, enjoyed meeting you and Aaron last night. As supportive as my family is, no one understands this journey unless they are going through it themselves. My best friend had this surgery done 3 1/2 years ago in Pittsburgh but she's so far post-op that she forgets about the wait and the struggle to get to the "other side". And of course back then, fewer people had it done, so her wait was only 3 months from when she started the process ( wouldn't that be heaven ? )
Won't it be fun for you and I to see each others' progress once we are post-op? Sometimes it's hard to believe you'll ever get there - kind of like waiting for Christmas when you were a kid. My husband hopes to have surgery, as well, but he will be quite a few months behind me, as he doesn't even go to the seminar until November. That's good though, because I need to be completely recovered and back to "normal" ( or as close as I get !!! ) before he has his done. OK, well who's being chatty now?
