???Question of the Day???

When was the last time that someone sent you flowers? I absolutely love to get flowers, they make me feel so special. I just keep looking at them and admiring how beautiful they are. They always make me smile. I love the peach colored roses. I just got some last week for giving support to someone in the hospital. Cheryl

I got some 3 weeks ago when I came home from the hospital. I love white roses they are my favorite.

4 yrs ago, my best friend sent me flowers for my b-day. Other than that, 1 time 18 yrs ago when I was packing to move out from my now ex-husband, it was a last ditch attempt to try and keep me from leaving. And I got flowers when my children were born. 18 yrs ago and 13 yrs ago.. pretty sad huh? 4 times in 45 yrs.. Next time, maybe when I have my WLS. After that, there best be a romantic man hopefully that comes into my life. I buy them for myself now though, (when I can't cut from garden) BECAUSE I deserve them!

I got some a few years ago for my birthday and it was a huge surprise I was at a really low point in my life and they really made me feel good and smelled so good I have no favorite I love them all

I know that it is sad that we do not think to share this joy with someone unless they are sick or even sadder when they die. Every once in a while I get flowers from the local grocery store for a birthday or holiday. I don't think I have ever had flowers delivered as a surprize to me. But on the other hand, I have never had flowers delivered as a surprize to someone else either. Definately something to think about. Great question.

I got flowers when I was in the hospital for my surgery and THEN when I came home, my congregation (I'm a pastor) sent me a dozen red roses! It was so sweet I cried. They are wonderful people and I felt very special. Blessings, Ruth in Ohio

It has been many years, but if I do get some it is usually from my friends rather than my husband. I think my husband sent me a dozen roses on my tenth anniversary, and we have been married 26 years! That is the only time from him. Cindy

I got my last bouquet of flowers in August for my birthday from my BF. Beautiful red carnations and they are my absolute favorite! My niece also sends them to me once in a while. I always get such a kick out of them. I love to send flowers and do so to friends and family several times a year. I'll even have some sent to myself if I am having a particularly bad week! Afterall, who loves me better then me?

My hubbie and I act like honeymooners. My friends think we're weird we've been together 16 years (married 9 of them) and we still hold hands and cuddle and stuff and he buys me flowers pretty frequently. I guess I'm spoiled. I think the last time I got them ws in July sometime. Money has been a bit tight so we haven't been splurging lately. Sometimes I will buy a boquet of sweetheart roses at Sam s and put them in vases. I have to admit Red and Yellow roses are my favoirtes. Gerber daisies are my #2 choice. Thanks for the fun question Cheryl. It reminded me again of what a sweetie my hubbie is! Hugs, Jaimee
