Has anyone been sick at all? I am 2 months out and seem to be getting more nauseated as the days go on. I am losing but the eating is getting to me. Dr,C wants me to get another upper GI and I am to sick to do it. Also I had one right before my lap and I had a tumer in my stomach and noone found it until Dr.C did and took it out.Cindy

Cindy, I am so sorry you are struggling with being sick. That is really scary that you had a tumor. Did they run a hematology screen on it? Is it risky for you have had an RNY since they will no longer be able to scope the old stomach? I hope you start feeling better and get to the bottom of whatever is causing the nausea. Hi Cindy, I'm sure that you thought you'd gotten through the worst of things at two months out. Can you hold down the food you eat? The nausea could be a stricture. Take Care!

Hi Cindy! Sorry about the sickies! ew...no fun. I would follow his advice. How about a scope...would he go for that instead of the UGI since you are not too hip on it? You should stay on top of this. Maybe it is a stricture, but if you had a tumor before, you really need to keep ahead of the game. Remember, listen to your body, and listen to your Doctor!!!! Take it easy! Valerie

Cindy, Good morning. I would do what Dr. C wants. The upper GI isn't bad. I really didn't have to drink a lot because Mindy, the radiologist, was very familiar with our anatomy. Your in my prayers Cindy that this gets better. Are you on any medication for it such as zofran? That has been the miracle pill for me. It works great! Sandy
